When working with Rosepapa Creative on your web project everything is right up front. From pricing to delivery. Each step of the way is open communication and involvement with our clients – teamwork! From weekly (often daily) check in calls and emails, Chris actively keeps your web project moving forward and keeps you in the loop so that there are no unplanned surprises along the way.

1. Planning

There are no shortcuts to any place worth going.

Prior to this phase we have moved forward on your project and have scoped it out, estimated a time frame for the project, received a deposit, and have a budget in place.

Before we dive into all the details and design of your project we plan what exactly needs to be done.

This is based on your business, goals and desired results. We work with you to determine branding, message, strategies to connect with your audience, integrating technical requirements and the most effective strategies to get you where you want to be.

We review the following and set up a plan to accomplish:

  • Sales goals
  • Define your message and brand
  • The best ‘look’ for your brand
  • Target demographics
  • Analysis of existing site (if applicable)
  • Website structure
  • Programming features and requirements
  • Content
  • Additional components may include:

  • If your website is E-Commerce: Shopping cart recommendations, payment gateways and more
  • Membership – Password protected areas on your website, strategies and goals
  • Information capture for newsletters and lists such as Constant Contact, Vertical Response, MailChimp and more
  • Lead Generation & Lead Management: Software options and integration such as Infusionsoft
  • Plugins for your website
  • 2. Concepts, Design and Production

“Great art – or good art – is when you look at it, experience it and it stays in your mind… ”

Once we have the foundation in place as to where we want to go, who we want to reach and how we’re going to get there, the design process starts.

Before this phase we will have already scoped out how many design choices, logo design choices if applicable, additional graphical elements and photography elements are included.

Using design and graphics that we create and ones that you provide, we design custom concepts that reflect your brand, goals and message seamlessly.

  • Logo – Various designs developed especially for your company (this will have been scoped out in advance)
  • Custom graphical elements for your website
  • Initial template design and development
  • Directory structure and page creation – depending on the number of pages in the website, we work with various programs for creating sitemaps
  • The design phases consists of two different home page designs that are to scale and unique
  • Based on the design selection additional pages are created
  • Web design work is done in Photoshop and Illustrator for logo work. Once you have approved the conceptual design(s), we will code the template(s) for your website. Incorporating the most current technology and if applicable for your project, a mobile and tablet version of your site. We code and build the pages using industry standard techniques and during development, we ensure cross-browser compatibility, site portability and code validation.
  • 3. Content/images Insertion and Initial Search Engine Optimization

“The brands that win are the brands that tell a great story.”

Your content should be more than just facts and bullet points! Many business owners are challenged with the content part of their website. They don’t know what to write about. That’s ok, because we help with this each step of the way. We help you to identify what will connect with your potential visitors. Your website should be interesting to read! And it needs to be search engine friendly too.

In order for your customers to find you organically, your content must contain the key phrases they are searching for. We ensure your content is optimized for the clients and customers that you want to attract.

During this phase we also code additional features and/or processes, which may include a subscriber magnet for Email marketing, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube or LinkedIn integration, or Google Analytics, as necessary.

We can work with you to develop the content from existing materials such as brochures, your existing site or other collateral marketing materials, or we can help create your website content.

    4. Final Review, Approval, Test and Launch

    “Relentless Forward Motion!”

We develop and test on a test server to insure accuracy and to also keep you engaged in the project. Each step of the way we communicate through phone, email, text… whatever works for you.

Once the site is completed in its entirety we review with you to ensure it’s functioning as designed and we address any errors and do tweaks. Once the website is completed and ready to go, we launch!

    5. Continual Support and Follow-up

“The only way to do great work is to love what you do.”

Our goal is that your project is a success! In addition we want to empower you to be successful with your website.

Upon completion of the project and handover of project to our clients:
