How To Create A Sticky Post

WordPress handles posts by chronological order, meaning that the newest post appears at the top of your blog, and the older posts are shown below in order of post date. But what if you have a great post that you want to be very visible to your readers? Using sticky posts allows you to select specific posts that will remain at the top of your blog regardless of post date.

Achieving this is very easy – edit the post you want to be sticky and on the right hand side you will see a section called “Publish.” Click on the edit link next to “Visibility: Public” which will expand this section with more options.

Then you will need to click on the box that says “Stick this post to the front page” which will make this post sticky and appear at the top of your blog. Once you have this checked, click on “OK” and then update your post for the changes to take effect
